Joel Raether
Joel RaetherMAED, CSCS *D, TSAC-F *D, RSCC*D
Joel is the Director of Sports Performance for the Colorado Mammoth Lacrosse team of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) since 2007. He served as the Education Programs Coordinator for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) from 2009 – 2011. Raether is also the co-founder of Performance Sandbag Training Systems (PST). His coaching career includes stints as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University of Denver from 2002 – 2009 and the University of Nebraska at Kearney from 2000 – 2002. Raether is a highly sought-after presenter who has traveled the world providing education and training to sport coaches, personal trainers, sport performance coaches, tactical athletes, and tactical facilitators. He has written numerous peer-reviewed articles, contributed to more than five published books, and has consulted a multitude of popular media outlets such as Men’s Health, Chicago Tribune, 9 News Denver, Chinese Olympic Committee, Sioux Falls Fire Academy, California Fire and Law Enforcement Centers, and SOBEFit Magazine. Raether oversees and administers one of three sites in the United States that executes the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s (NSCA) TSAC Practitioners Course. In addition to coaching a multitude of Olympians, he has also coaches more than 10 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) National Champions, All-Americans, league most valuable players (MVPs), and All-Pros.
John Cole

JC is a managing partner at FAST Performance as well as directing education and strategic partnerships. His athlete/client list includes the top athletes in field sports and winter sports world such as Mikeala Shiffrin and Lindsey Vonn. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with Distinction and Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach with Distinction from the National Strength and Conditioning Association as well as being only one of a handful of trainers worldwide who has completed all 4 Phases of the Athlete’s Performance Institute (EXOS) Mentorship Program. He presently holds certifications in Functional Movement Screening, TRX, Power Plate, and USA Weightlifting. His programs and applications have helped athlete’s achieve numerous FIS World Cup podiums and 4 Gold and 6 Silver X-Games medals in addition to World Championship and Olympic Gold Medals. He was responsible for the buildout of the Minturn Fitness Center and the staff-wide continuing education program at Ski and Snowboard Club Vail. He is often asked to speak at National and International Conferences on Strength and Power Training, and Program Design, including a speaking engagement at the 2014 NFL Combine in Indianapolis and at the Olympic Oval in Vancouver in 2016.
Liam Murray, CSCS
Liam Murray, CSCSTrainer
Liam is a Colorado native and longtime member of the FAST performance family. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science (2021) and his Masters in Business Administration (2023) from North Park University in Chicago, IL where he was also a member of the Baseball team. He is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength & Conditioning Association. His coaching experience includes time as a volunteer assistant strength and conditioning coach at his alma mater from March 2022 – May 2023 leading team training for mens and womens golf, and assisting with baseball, football, and both basketball and soccer teams. He also was a sports performance intern at the University of Denver from June-December, 2023 working primarily with College & Pro-Alumni Hockey, Men’s Lacrosse, and Men’s Basketball.
