TESTIMONIAL: MAYA PELLEGRINI

As a soccer player, I require efficiency in speed and agility, as well as absolute endurance. Over the course of high school, I had been told by many of my soccer coaches that I need to work on my coordination and to be “more athletic” when I run. A career changing moment, I was referred to Joel Raether by professional soccer coach, Zuriel Lozano.

Raether is not a coach that looks for business, but genuinely pushes his clients for their maximum growth and success as athletes. He displays absolute professionalism in the way he engages with others and takes the time to thoroughly analyze every detail in every movement of the athlete to make them even half a second faster. Raether also adjusts to every athlete’s journey and ways of learning individually, training specific drills and performing exercises with great purpose. He made learning the mechanics of running personal to me, as he related running to the engine of a car.

After learning great details everyday about the true mechanics of running, I noticed the significant increase in my ability to move from point A to point B much quicker, it felt effortless to move in any direction that was demanded of me, and I felt much more confident and comfortable within myself to be able to perform at the highest competition. Raether pushed me on “agility day” so that I would concentrate on performing the correct cuts and movements while working on my cardio. Even so, I was able to participate in some training with the men’s soccer team at my high school, and after my work with Raether, I found great efficiency in my ability to keep up with their speed. Raether’s work most definitely satisfies the name “FAST Performance”.
