Playing College baseball is a dream that most every player has going through middle/highschool. Playing in the World Series as a college baseball player would be even sweeter, let alone getting drafted! Looking at numbers from “Inside the Numbers” by Bob Howdeshell

The odds of having an opportunity isn’t easy. Lots want it, not many get it. Close to 1 of every 9 HS players move on to college baseball. With almost 500,000 HS players as freshmen, only about .5% will be drafted. To give players the best chance of being in a position to achieve their dreams, I went and looked at two things that have nothing to do with playing ability of the best armature players of 2022. Each blog will will have the average height and weight of each positional group, of each team, of every college team that made that days level of the College World Series.  Each level NCAA D1, D2, D3 and NAIA, along with NJCAA D1, D2, and D3 plus players drafted will have its own blog released on a new day. I have found the averages and put them into groups of catchers with corner infielders, middle infielders, and outfielders along with team & level averages.  I will be posting on twitter and instagram polls of a level vs level and see who thinks which level is attached to what set of averages. I think people will be surprised with what these numbers come out to be. This Wednesday August 31st will be the first released level!
