Meet The Staff

BROOKS BENSON

HITTING INSTRUCTOR

  • Raised in Parker CO. Attended Chaparral HS before attending Garden City (CC), then Nebraska-Kearney (D2), and finally Southwestern Oklahoma State (D2)

  • All-Conference Outfielder for Garden City where in 2016 he helped them finish 45-17 completing one of the greatest seasons ever in the history of GCCC.

  • Played in the Independent Leagues for the Monterey Amberjacks, BlackSox and the Idaho Falls Chukars.

  • Currently FAST’s director of hitting where he brings lots of knowledge and enthusiasm to the game for the next generation of players. 

DANNY ROWLEY

HITTING AND CATCHING INSTRUCTOR

  • Born and raised in Durango CO. Attended Durango HS before continuing his playing career at Central Arizona (CC) and then Missouri State (D1).

  • Helped lead Missouri State to 2 NCAA Super Regional appearances

  • Former D1 Catcher and how gives catching instruction focusing on the fundamentals of footwork, receiving, glove work and blocking.

  • Brings over 20 years of playing and coaching experience to players of all ages and abilities.
